Kyle Warton

Kyle Warton is a proud member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation. He holds an Honours, Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University and graduated as Valedictorian of the full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. While at Carleton, Kyle captained the Varsity Golf Team, representing the university in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) competitions.

Kyle is currently the Business Development Manager at Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC), where he leads the investment division with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), venture capital (VC), joint ventures (JVs), and real estate. He also supports the management of SNGRDC’s 2.4GW renewable energy generation and storage portfolio.

Outside of his role at SNGRDC, Kyle volunteers as a mentor with Outside Looking In, a non-profit organization that empowers Indigenous youth through experiential education. He has also contributed to the Optimist Club and ABC Life Literacy Canada. In March 2025, Kyle joined the Board of Directors of Wigwamen Inc., Ontario’s oldest and largest urban Indigenous housing provider.
