Jordan Montour

Jordan Sha:karónia Montour is a proud Kanienkeha:ka (Mohawk), Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) from Kahnawake. Jordan currently serves as an Investment Advisor at Goldman Sachs, based in Boston, where he builds and invests sovereign wealth funds and institutional investment portfolios for Native American and First Nations communities spanning across Turtle Island.

Jordan received his MBA from Yale University in 2024, and BA from Dartmouth College in 2017, where he double majored in Environmental Studies and Native American Studies/Geography. Previous to his work at Goldman Sachs, Jordan spent time investing at Endurance Companies, an SF-based multi-family office and venture studio; at Boston based institutional investment firm Cambridge Associates; Deutsche Bank in NYC; and a brief stint attempting to build a startup in Indigenous finance/investing.

Outside of his work, Jordan is passionate about being outside and on the land. He can be found running, hiking, camping, backpacking, skiing, or seeking out natural bodies of water. Jordan is an avid endurance athlete and semi-regularly competes in triathlons and other races.

It’s part of our way as a people, and will be necessary for Indigenous people to continue progressing towards economic self-determination, and ultimately expansion of sovereignty for the next Seven Generations to come.
