Erikka Ogrodnick
Originally from Northern Manitoba and a member of the Manitoba Métis Federation, Erikka attended Simon Fraser University where she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, International Business, and Operations Management in 2017. During her time at SFU, she had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant, complete a study abroad semester, and work on a social impact project with Radius SFU.
Erikka started her career with KPMG Vancouver in Tax, working with private businesses of varying sizes and individuals while completing the CPA PEP program. She then went on to write and pass the CFE exam in 2019, obtaining her CPA designation in November 2020.
While at KPMG, she co-lead the National Indigenous People's Network for over three years, as well as being heavily involved in local programs engaging and empowering Indigenous youth such as the Martin Family Initiative and the KPMG Indspire mentorship program. She continues this work as co-lead of the BC region chapter of the NIPN.
Erikka is passionate about education and advocating greater representation of Indigenous peoples within the accounting and financial industry. Outside of work and teaching, Erikka enjoys reading, hiking, and anything creative (especially beading).
