Dustin Ross Fiddler

Dustin Ross Fiddler is a Cree leader and strategic advisor from Waterhen Lake First Nation, Treaty 6 Territory, now based in Toronto. He serves as a Manager in Indigenous Relations, Partnerships and Business Development at Hydro One, where he helps advance major transmission projects and develop 50/50 equity partnership models with First Nations. Dustin is known for navigating complex corporate and community environments, building strong Nation to Nation relationships, and guiding Chiefs and Councils through high-stakes decisions with clarity and trust.

With more than a decade of experience working alongside Indigenous communities, governments, and organizations, he brings a grounded understanding of governance, policy, and economic development. His background includes work in engagement and intergovernmental relations, as well as time served as an elected Councillor for his home Nation. This experience shapes his balanced and community-first approach.

Outside of work, he lives in Toronto with his partner JC and their dog Hudson, balancing fitness, personal growth, and long-term planning with a deep commitment to community empowerment and future-focused Indigenous leadership.
