    A Member of Liard First Nation (Kaska Dene) and a lawyer working in financial services with Indigenous Governments. Former International Athlete(World Medalist, Commonwealth Games Medalist, Olympic Alternate, National Champion) where she learned to be agile.

    WHY I AM INVOLVED:
    I want to connect with like-minded Indigenous professionals. This cohort is made up of a diverse collective of young Indigenous leaders as well as established, knowledgeable mentors. Providing the space for us to come together and bring our respective knowledge, stories and skillsets is not only going to benefit our individual growth, but it will inevitably benefit the economies of our respective communities and regions.

With his extensive experience working with Aboriginal business and communities Clayton understands the unique requirements of Aboriginal people.

In her legal practice, Skawenniio represents private equity and venture capital clients in corporate and transactional law matters. She previously served on the Boards of Directors of the National Indian Education Association and Indspire.
